Squat

Below are some of my images from the squat I've been staying in in London over the past few months. The guys there have been incredibly welcoming and friendly, just like to thank them for putting up with me and Dean.
I found the squat was pretty dark. I shot all my images on black and white film, and have scanned them all in. I had to either push 400ISO to 1600, or I used 3200 so I could get as much detail as possible in the dim lighting, and thankfully they haven't come out too grainy.
I'm using these images in a book for my publishing module, however I hope to carry on shooting to get a fuller and more intimate body of work.
The squat images are going to be a part of a bigger body of work which I hope to create on "alternative living". Last year I went to an eco-village in London, and visited some travelers near Dursley. I will upload those photos at some point soon, however I need to get more done. Never seem to have enough shots...
Anyway, let me know what you think. I know they seem to be very dark and sinister, but I refused to use a flash in my images. Wanted them to be as natural as possible, and without being too intrusive.
They are in no particular order.
